Shelly Jordan MD

Neuroscientist, Regenerative Medicine Physician

Sheldon Jordan, MD, is a physician and neuroscientist whose academic path uniquely bridges art, psychology, and medicine. He graduated from Brooklyn Technical High School in Industrial Design, studied experimental and Shakespearean theater at the University of Southampton in England, and later attended Johns Hopkins University, where he studied art and psychology while conducting research in neurophysiology and behavioral psychology. He completed his premedical training at Harvard University.

Following his early academic work, Dr. Jordan designed and implemented behavioral psychiatry programs at the Sheppard Pratt Institute and developmental psychopathology programs at The Kennedy Institute. He went on to complete medical school and a Neurosciences program at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), along with fellowships in Epilepsy, Clinical Neurophysiology, and Electromyography. He also served on staff in the Sleep Laboratory and Neurobehavior Clinic.

Dr. Jordan has been a long-standing clinical faculty member at UCLA and USC, where he has taught interventional pain programs and helped establish the stroke services at UCLA and Providence Saint John’s Health Center. His clinical and academic leadership has contributed to advancements in neurological diagnostics, treatment protocols, and patient-centered care.

An accomplished author and lecturer, Dr. Jordan has published numerous books and peer-reviewed articles and continues to speak nationally and internationally. His clinical specialties include advanced brain imaging, brain and nerve injury interventions, regenerative and anti-aging medicine, and clinical neuroscience research. As chief investigator on multiple IRB-approved studies, he remains actively engaged in expanding the boundaries of modern neurological care.
