Advanced Certification Tracks

The experts at Beyond Mold are the only academics and educators that certify and credential Mold practitioners in the world. Our evidence based training is widely recognized as producing the best providers and professionals in the field.

We are pleased to announce, for the first time a major academic institution – George Washington University – has adopted our curriculum to offer graduate level education to practitioners and Indoor Environmental Experts (IEPs). This represents a breakthrough in the field and affirms our scientific approach to Mold Illness.

Professionals have two options for training:

Management of Mold Related Illness for the Practitioner - GW

George Washington University 20 CME Course – Management of Mold Related Illness for the Practitioner

This course is designed to teach the medical basics of mold related illness to physicians and industry professionals. While mold exposure is well known to cause allergic responses and pulmonary disease, less well recognized is the inflammatory response generated in vulnerable individuals. Over the past decade, countless research studies have uncovered the systemic reactions to mold and mycotoxins, and the resultant multi symptom, multi system illness that arises. This course is designed to cover the fundamental mechanisms by which this illness arises and offer a framework for ancillary providers and industry professionals to communicate effectively with this clinical population.

If you pass BOTH the George Washington University Mold Practitioner Course and the CIRS Credentials Course, you will be listed as a Center of Excellence.

This activity is intended to meet the educational needs of the healthcare team including but not limited to:

  • Physicians
  • Residents
  • Medical Students
