Skip Jankoski

Founder & President, Purified Environments

Philip “Skip” Jankoski is the Founder and President of Purified Environments, serving California’s Central Coast, and the Co-Founder of the Purified Environments Provider Network (PEPN), which supports the independent Environmental Health Medical Advisory Board. Together, these organizations promote medically informed approaches to mold and environmental biotoxin assessment, comprehensive decontamination, and health-aligned remediation oversight.

Based in Santa Barbara, California, Skip and his team transform residential and commercial properties into cleaner, safer, and healthier indoor environments, with particular focus on individuals who are medically vulnerable or environmentally sensitive due to mold or biotoxin exposure.

With more than two decades of experience in medical therapeutics, implantable medical devices, laboratory diagnostics, and biotechnology, Skip brings deep expertise in microbial behavior, bioaerosol dynamics, and evidence-based decontamination protocols. He applies these insights to bridge the gap between traditional mold remediation and healthcare-level infectious disease control practices.

A recognized authority in environmental health, Skip serves as a Senior Trainer and member of the President’s Council for the National Organization of Remediators and Microbial Inspectors (NORMI™). He holds the NORMIPro™ certification, demonstrating mastery in assessing indoor environments, developing remediation protocols, and managing projects for environmentally sensitized populations. Skip leads a national movement to reframe mold and biotoxin remediation as a public health imperative, advancing evidence-based, medically aligned standards for safer indoor spaces.
